Abstract

|
Authors experienced two cases of "microgranular" variant of acute promyelocytic
ukernia i - a 5 year-old boy and a 22 year-old female patients who had bilobed, multilobed or reniform nucleus with agranular to only finely granular cytoplasm. The immature cells including microgranular promyelocytes and a few typical hypergranular promyelocytes are positive reaction on peroxidase, Sudan black B and chloroacetate esterase stains, negative to weakly positive reactions on PAS stain and alpha-naphthyl butyrate esterase stains.
